Take Five to Prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome

The Children's Trust Fund's Shaken Baby Prevention Project helps communities and hospitals implement training programs that prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS).

A study published in the Journal of Psychiatry & Law shows education programs that reach mothers and fathers at multiple times and include education on the demands of parenting and child development are shown to be very effective in reducing the incidence of SBS.

To learn more about shaken baby syndrome prevention, receive awareness materials, or to schedule an informational presentation, contact the Children's Trust Fund at (860) 418-8765.
